Hurt

Hurt. No one likes it, no one wants it, yet it happens. It scars us, changes us, and sometimes destroys us completely.

But it always melts away like the snow, and dulls over time like the barbwire. It becomes less noticeable and, even if it cut you so deep you can't completely forget or get over it, it does get better. It doesn't last forever....With care and love of others there to help.

I was to the point where I had lost hope of ever being okay with myself and my life. To the point of where I shut off my feelings and stopped caring. But this person has given me hope, and more importantly has started giving me back the pieces of myself I thought I'd never gain back. This photo is for him, to show him what I feel he has helped me overcome so far, even in such a small time.

I have had this photo in my files for a year or so now...I've had no clue as to what this picture meant or could mean. I had no idea what to call it.

But I have met someone who has inspired me so much the moment I saw this photo again I knew in my heart what to say. This person really means something to me and I hope he, and my watchers here on dA, like it.
